Itinerary

Check-in at the Cascade Raft River Center (7050 Highway 55, Horseshoe Bend, ID 83629) at 9 AM to meet your instructors. After ensuring that you have properly-fitted gear, we'll head to the water to start learning. Expect to spend several hours working on foundational kayaking technique before we return to our center for a lunch break. There will be time for relaxing and addressing any questions you might have at lunch and then we'll head to the river for the afternoon session and start applying the concepts you've learned to river-running. The class will wrap up about 4:30 PM and we'll look forward to a similar schedule for the second day. This class offers not only a great kayaking base, but the chance to enjoy the group dynamic, learn from others, and meet some paddling partners for future adventures.
